[ THE NATIONALITY ]: Soph’s family lives in Texas, and she calls it her home, but she was born in New York. The family moved south when her father was elected to head a large oil company – Sophia was 4. Her mother and father hail from California and New York, respectively.
[ THE TALENT ]: Since she was a small child, Miss Vittoro has been a dancer – she began lessons at 3 and continues them to this day, having perfected ballet, jazz, and tap and now training herself to the same level in contemporary. Soph has an innate grace and style that are stunning and lend to her talents; with still a year left, she is already getting offers from prestigious companies to dance professionally after school and has performed with the New York City Ballet in a very selective internship.

These are just a few examples of what she’s done in her youth; she’s competed all over the country as a child and teenager, and even a few times in Europe, and has multiple awards to prove it.
[ THE STRUGGLES ]: Sophia has always been the girl that wasn’t sophisticated enough; the fact that her father is an oil tycoon and that she hails from Texas generally seem to convince many fellow students that she’s just lucky to be where she is, and doesn’t deserve to be going to such a prestigious school for the talented children of the wealthy and perfect. She’s battled this, and continues to battle it, socially; beyond that, however, she’s a confident young woman [most of the time] and excels in her work.

Physically, Sophia has had past struggles with eating disorders and it is a constant battle to avoid slipping back into that habit, seeing how afraid she is of gaining weight.

[ THE OTHER SCHOOL ]: Soph has attended Felicity since 6th grade and, aside from the occasional idiocy by fellow students in regards to her placement at Harriman, has enjoyed herself thoroughly – mostly because she’s been so successful as a result of her education in the arts.

LOOKS, LOCKS, AND LEGS

[ THE PLAYED-BY ]: Taylor, Elyse

[ THE EYES ]: Sophia’s eyes are a clear, vibrant blue, the color of the sky on a clear day. They are speckled with pale gray, which gives them quite a bit of depth and focus. Shaped like wide almonds, they’re large and expressive, with long blonde lashes and sharp, thin brows to compliment them. She tends to keep her lids lower, slitting them in an unintentionally sultry way, and they’re very untouched – no laugh lines, no dark circles. Sophia, apparently, needs to laugh a little more often.
[ THE HAIR ]: Soph’s hair is her pride and she loves it, probably more than most things. It’s thick and long, straight and fine; while it takes a good 15 minutes to blow dry, it’s totally worth it. Her golden blonde hair also holds curl brilliantly, which Sophia is quite grateful for, considering her penchant for them, and it grows ridiculously fast, hence she can cut it often in various styles without worry. She has never touched it with color, and the only experience it’s had other than heat is the sun, which only bleaches it even more for a pretty, lit summer look after days on Texas beaches. And she won’t let anyone else lay a finger on it, either.
[ THE SMILE ]: Sophia doesn’t smile in a manner that shows her teeth often; most of the time, it’s a sort of half-smirk or grimace. Which she does smile, she lights up a room; her teeth are pearly and straight, much like those of her parents. Ah, genes! Her parents and sister get to see it all of the time, unlike her fellow students.
[ THE OTHER FACIAL STUFF ]: Her nose is small, straight, and slightly bulbous on the end, but it works well with her features. Her mouth is full, shaped like a bow, and her lips are pale, often blending with her skin without being bitten to encourage blood flow. Sophia’s face is round and soft, punctuating her definitively lined eyes.

[ THE BUILD ]: Due to problems with eating disorders in the past, Sophia is just beginning to fill out properly, but the girl, in any case, is all lean muscle; not only did she inherit a rockin’ figure from her mother, she’s danced since she was a toddler and is toned and fit as can be. Her legs are long and she has well-defined, but not masculine, biceps, and, as some have deemed to notice, a fantastic butt.
[ THE HEIGHT ]: 5’7”
[ THE WEIGHT ]: A lean, mean 130.
[ THE POSTURE ]: She has a dancer’s posture – you can’t turn properly and well unless you’re standing up straight! Besides, slumping is seriously unattractive.
[ THE CLOTHING ]: Sophia is very electic and vintage in her look. She is extremely nostalgic and is known for stealing items from her mother’s closet, as well as stalking vintage clothing stores for the latest prize. While she does have many modern pieces, you will never see them paired together, and my does the girl love ballet flats- they feel like home, and she has many, many pairs. Her hair is usually let free with little clips and pretties stuck in it – when she’s not dancing, of course. She is also a collector of scarves and wears them often. Her favorite pair of jeans are worn skinnies from the 60s, comfy and flattering.
[ THE HYGIENE ]: Sophia is confident in her abilities but self-conscious about her person; she takes a shower twice daily, more if necessary, and brushes her teeth after every single meal. She also is a lotion addict and puts it on all the time, wishing to avoid the dry skin that cool weather can cause.

FAMILY: HATE TO LOVE 'EM?

[ THE PARENTS ]: Her mother, Jacqueline Vittorno, is a California girl displaced to New York for college, where she met Charles Vittorno, Soph’s father. Sophia is very close to both of her parents and is quite a Daddy’s girl.
[ THE SIBLINGS ]: Anne Delilah Vittorno, 14, a freshmen at Harriman; while they are very different, Sophia loves her sister and is very protective of her. They also have a younger brother, a family surprise, actually – Sawyer Charles, 5. He is heavily doted upon but Anne is still treated as the baby of the family by far.
[ OTHER IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS ]: None to speak of. Sophia’s family is scattered across the nation and while she loves all of them, none of them even come close to the relationship she has with her parents.
[ IMPORTANT ANCESTRY ]: Jacqueline Vittono is related to old Hollywood in some way, but research is still being done to connect names to the line.
