[ THE PREVIOUS SUCCESSES ]: Aside from winning a few local art contests and getting some of his work mentioned in a regional newspaper, his only real success is managing not to get kicked out of school.
[ THE STRUGGLES ]: Growing up with his only his Mother and half-brother, life was never exactly perfect. They didn’t have much money and because of that they didn’t spend much time together as a family. His Father lives in a different state, with a family of his own, and other than the odd phone conversation, Alistair has very little contact with him.

[ THE OTHER SCHOOL ]: Alistair went to public school in Texas, although he was kicked out of his first middle school after getting into a fight with a member of the football team - who also happened to be the Principal’s son. However regardless of his tendency to get in trouble, his grades were often well above average, particularly in subjects concerning literature, history and art.

LOOKS, LOCKS, AND LEGS

[ THE PLAYED-BY ]: Pasqualino, Luke.

[ THE EYES ]: Dark chocolate brown in colour, they’re ringed by thick black lashes. They’re the kind of eyes that simultaneously make girls hideously jealous and instantly enamoured. Unfortunately, thanks to his not-quite-legal habits they’re often bloodshot or ringed with bags from his lack of sleep.
[ THE HAIR ]: Short, dark brown and stylishly choppy. Alistair takes fantastic care of his hair - when he can be bothered. The messed-up look is quite often a total accident. Nevertheless, overall he tries to look after his hair… Because he’s vain like that.
[ THE SMILE ]: His smile is a very secretive one. It’s the kind of smile that starts on his face, but then really brightens up in his eyes. It’s small, rarely showing off his perfect - though off-white - teeth, and has an air of honest mystery about it.
[ THE OTHER FACIAL STUFF ]: A little bit of stubble around his chin, he tends to shave more often than not. Like any normal teenager he suffers from the occasional, all be it minor, bouts of acne. His skin is fairly dark, belaying his mixed heritage, and he has unusually well-defined cheekbones; for a guy.
[ THE BUILD ]: Tall and lanky. Alistair likes to think that he’s muscular but it’s more thinness than anything else. If there is muscle on his body though, it’s most defined in his legs and his stomach - something to do with his skateboarding, perhaps.
[ THE HEIGHT ]: 5ft 8inches.
[ THE WEIGHT ]: 140... Maybe 150lbs. It fluxuates a lot.
[ THE POSTURE ]: Slouching is probably his key characteristic. Apart from when he’s sketching, then he’ll sit however is most comfortable. There’s a slight bounce in his step when he walks which because of his height and build and generally just the fact that he’s male can make him seem quite menacing at times.

[ THE CLOTHING ]: Jeans and t-shirts. Sweet and simple. Of course, they’re carefully selected, often quite tight-fitting t-shirts complimented by a funky zip-up hoody. A lot of his clothing is something like Vans or Quicksilver, bought with his own money because he felt bad about making his Mom shell out for anything even remotely expensive. He favours a plain black pair of chucks over all other shoes, although admittedly he only owns three pairs - a pair of black and white skate shoes (Vans), his black Converse and a pair of plain black flip-flops. Fashion isn’t exactly at the forefront of his mind, although he’s vain enough to put in effort when he can be bothered.
[ THE HYGIENE ]: Laziness can sometimes make him unwilling to shower. However, regardless of this, he won’t shower any less than every other day - he does so every day when possible, particularly after he’s been skating. His hair is naturally quite wavy, so he tends to straighten it and tries to look after his appearance best he can - although, there are some days when it just doesn’t seem worth it to him - but this is normally because he’s in a bad mood and generally just can’t be bothered to do anything anyway.

FAMILY: HATE TO LOVE 'EM?

[ THE PARENTS ]: Maria Salgado, loving mother and proud employee at Wal-Mart. Davide Twyman - step-father of sorts, a mysterious figure and father of his older brother Alistair doesn’t really give a damn about him, other than for his money. James Austin, paternal father, jackass, deserter, ex-Navy, and currently working as a Doctor somewhere in Seattle.
[ THE SIBLINGS ]: Leo Twyman, Seventh Year and total Prima Ballerina. Not exactly the closest of relationships, there’s not much animosity there either - for the most part Leo remains an enigma to Alistair - who as the younger sibling often just admired his brother from a distance. They are very different people though, so their lack of familiarity is somewhat understandable.
[ OTHER IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS ]: His mother’s mother, Grandma Salgado, was a pretty big influence on him. Until he hit his teens, that is, and realised that his family was, on the whole, a bit of a joke. He still feels guilty, however, for never calling her anymore.
[ IMPORTANT ANCESTRY ]: None what so ever.
