GENERAL INFORMATION

[ THE FULL NAME ]: MacKenzie Oakley Butler
[ THE NICKNAMES ]: The Butler, MacK (no, seriously), Kenzie, MOB
[ THE BIRTHDAY ]: June 6, 1975
[ THE AGE ]: Thirty-three years old, even.
[ THE GENDER ]: MacKenzie is..well, he’s male. Leaving it at that is safest.
[ THE SEXUALITY ]: Straight, or so he says. Some of his students might beg to differ, but it’s all in jest, right? Right?!?!
[ THE NATIONALITY ]: Hell, Michigan. That is, until his relationship with his fiancé fell apart. Technically, he made his new home in Maine, but he does keep his Michigan home, he’s dubbed it his summer home.

[ THE TALENT ]: Lots of things, but it’s better to stick with Theater...
[ THE SUBJECT]: Theater and everything it involves. Nothing but theater.
[ THE RESUME ]:
1993: Graduated from Harriman. Hit college for teaching credentials immediately.
1994: Rising actor in theatre and very popular for his parts in Shakespearian plays. Started in on his Bacherlor’s for Theatre.
1995-1997: Teacher at Pinckney High School and Theatre director.
1998-2000: Very big theatre actor and teacher at UofM.
2000-: Hired by Harriman when he sent in an application. Still working at the school today. His fiancé left him in 2005.

[ THE FEARS ]:

Quietly chivalrous, very handsome, the friendly teacher, strict about grading, fun, unique, disinterested in relationships, mischievous, not easily angered, that guy, the hitman-in-disguise-looking type, currently sad, warm, friendly, dramatic when needed, King of the Theatre.

[ THE ULTIMATE GOAL ]: Currently, MacKenzie doesn’t really have a goal. He’s quite content with where things are. To have a goal, to him, is to invite change. He doesn’t want change.
[ THE PREVIOUS SUCCESSES ]: He’s been in several plays; he’s gotten his name in the news; he’s been on Broadway several times; he’s had some secondary character parts in movies (he didn’t want the primary-character positions offered).
[ THE STRUGGLES ]: His sister keeps having kids, his brother has stolen money from him, his fiancé left him. He’s still trying to keep up with all the names of his nieces and nephews, and he hasn’t gotten over his fiancé yet.

[ THE OTHER SCHOOL ]: Graduated from Felicity J. Harriman School for the Arts
Got both his B.F.A and his M.F.A from University of Michigan
Got his credentials for teaching from UofM as well.
He got his job at Harriman back in 2000 and has stuck with it since then.

LOOKS, LOCKS, AND LEGS

[ THE PLAYED-BY ]: Depp, Johnny

[ THE EYES ]: Large, expressive and dark eyes only add to his attractiveness. They are black in color and very entrancing. Dark lashes frame them and smooth brows lay above them. Though some may not believe it, MacKenzie’s eyes are very expressive.
[ THE HAIR ]: Soft, long locks adorn this man’s head. Oh, he’s not got hair that reaches his rear, but his hair does hang just barely over his shoulders. Of a curly nature, his hair does not hang boring and straight. In fact, one can never really know what his hair will look like by the end of the day. He runs his hair through it, pulls it back into ponytails and pulls it down again throughout the day. His hair is typically of a chestnut brown color, but lighter brown highlights appear after a summer spent in the sun.
[ THE SMILE ]: Though he does not smile often, MacKenzie has a very beautiful smile. It’s the type to make people want to see it, even if they have to work for it. With his students, he’s open and casual and tends to smile a lot more easily than he does with fellow faculty members. Perhaps it’s the fact that he believes he’s safe from getting involved with a student?
As it is, though, he has two different types of smiles. The small one which he uses to express amusement or polite interest and the more open one that reveals his straight, even teeth. It just depends on the situation and the company.
[ THE OTHER FACIAL STUFF ]: No acne dares traverse on this man’s face. If he ever did have to contend with it, that stage has long since passed. Since he looks so very young without facial hair, he tends to sport a moustache and a goatee all the time. He hasn’t shaved his face entirely since his engagement was broken off. Sometimes, when he’s stressed, one may find him with a five o’clock shadow.

[ THE BUILD ]: As thin as he appears, he doesn’t look like he would be particularly muscular. However, if he were take his shirt off, everyone would realize that this man is made of muscle. His abdomen is sharply cut, making him quite a sight shirtless. He’s not necessarily ripped, but he doesn’t need to be in order to convey how intimidating he can be. Usually he’s pretty laid back, so it can baffle some as to how he came by such a perfect body.
[ THE HEIGHT ]: 6’4”
[ THE WEIGHT ]: 204lbs
[ THE POSTURE ]: MacKenzie’s movements and posture are both very loose and thoughtlessly graceful. He never slouches; really…In fact, his posture seems a way of acting in and of itself. With a straight spine, though not ramrod straight, and relaxed shoulders, he never looks tense or uptight. He never seems to try to appear graceful, he just is. However, when he’s in character, he’ll adopt a posture that most befits that character.

[ THE CLOTHING ]: Being a very relaxed person, MacKenzie does not pull out the suit and tie for school. No, he can be found wandering around in a pair of worn jeans, some sort of (usually) solid colored shirt and sandals in the warmer weather. In colder weather, he switches out his sandals for boots or sneakers. He likes button-up shirts as much as he likes t-shirts, so his wardrobe varies. The colors he wears usually avoid the pastel range, although he has worn pale blue or lilac on occasion. When forced to dress up, he cleans up really nicely with three-piece suits and nice shoes. Although, he seems to avoid dressing up whenever possible.
[ THE HYGIENE ]: He’s not obsessive about his hygiene, but he does make sure he showers once a day and brushes his teeth. His hair is another matter. He might brush it in the morning, but by night it is wild and tangled again. If he were to miss his shower of the day, it wouldn’t bother him too much, since he’ll just take a shower the next day. He doesn’t have a specific time set for showers, so he takes one when he gets the chance. Not self-conscious in the least, he cares little what other think of him, although he despises the thought of smelling horrible.

FAMILY: HATE TO LOVE 'EM?

[ THE PARENTS ]: Anthony Whitney Butler; farmer; father; 57; MacKenzie and Anthony are great friends, although they do not always see eye to eye. They’ve had their arugments, but they always manage to get over it.
Carol Morgan Butler; florist; mother; 56; MacKenzie loves his mother dearly, he just wishes she’d stop playing match-maker. He’s not interested in relationships right now.
[ THE SIBLINGS ]: Anastasia Morgan Quinton; 36; big sis; Ana is the sibling that got married when she was nineteen and then started having kids like crazy. MacKenzie doesn’t think he’ll ever really understand her. She’s a housewife with a degree in business.
Anthony Whitney Butler II; 34; big bro; Tony is the fun big brother who’s getting married soon.
Richard Thomas Butler; 31; little bro; Dick…He’s just as his name says. He stole money from MacKenzie when they shared an apartment. They are not currently on good terms.
Amy Michelle Butler; 23; little sis; She’s the baby of the family and MacKenzie’s best friend. He would protect her if she’d let him.
[ OTHER IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS ]: Rochelle Jasmine McCade – ex-fiancé. MacKenzie loved her very much, but she ripped out his heart and left him.
[ IMPORTANT ANCESTRY ]: MacKenzie is actually of a direct line of Native American chieftains…Though one of his ancestors split off the line by marrying a white woman. So, his family doesn’t know what tribe they’re part of yet. On the English side, he’s a descendant of a British noblewoman.
