Pop! Goes The Cherry
»"Oh, WG, have you really know decency? This is kind of old news, but it looks like IC might have paid off a few people, like the true politician’s daughter that she is, to keep this little gem on the hush hush. But oh, IC, IC, don’t you know that nothing is safe from me?"

Oh, Baby, Baby!
»"Hey Harrimaners, sorry for my brief abscence, but I’ve been just too busy trying to keep track of all the gossip in this school to even be able to write about it! But this little piece of news was just TOO good for even a busy bee like me to pass up."

»"Yet another car bomb went off in Iraqiranistan at approximately 3 PM this afternoon. Casualties were numbered at as many as twenty Iraqistanis, as well as three American soldiers, and thirty of both parties wounded. A statement has not been issued by the army as to the potential terrorists, but WNB is willing to guesstimate that Tyler Durden + Sack Of Mothballs = Big Explosion"

Maine to Pass Bill for Heavy Budget Cuts; Sports, Arts Suffer
» "Maine has been following the precedent set by several other United States school boards and has been cutting funding significantly to schools, especially for fine arts programs. While this mostly affects public schools, it will also affect a small number of private and magnet schools that receive fundings, grants, and scholarships for students from the government."

Audrey opened her bassoon case, pulled out her leather seat strap and draped it over her shoulders for the time being. She was super excited for the Musical this year. Playing the the pit might of been mandatory, but even if it wasn't she would probably get involved with it. How cool is it to be able to play a couple pieces of music while the rest of your friends ran around the stage? She obviously got the easy job. She smiled to herself before pushing her bassoon together. She gently pushed her reed case into the top of her bassoon, so she wouldn't forget it. It would be just like her. Make it down into the pit, with bassoon, strap and music, but no reeds.

Her only problem about being involved in the pit, was the fact that she could never actually see how all her friends were doing up on the stage. Abi, Jay, and Will, all spent bunches of time on the stage why she was down in the pit just playing along. She was going to have to come back next year and see the next play, because obviously they wouldn't be able to put her into the pit after she graduated. She laughed slightly before pulling herself off the floor, bassoon and music in hand, seat strap around her shoulders. She bent her knees just slightly to shake her black concert skirt down. It had gotten slightly wrinkled from sitting on the floor. She frowned and pulled on it for a brief second, hoping that it would fix with just a couple pulls. After a couple seconds of messing with it, it looked like, well better than it did before. It wasn't like everyone was going to see her anyways.

Audie made her way down the little hallway and pushed open the door to the orchestra pit and took a quick glance around. She quickly realized she was the first one there. She zig-zagged her way around chairs and stands till she finally made it to her seat in the second row. She carefully placed her bassoon down, laying it across two chairs and pulled off her seat strap and dropping it onto one of the chairs. She pulled her reed case out of the top of her bassoon and pulled out the one that wasn't to old, but wasn't completely new either. She stuck it into her mouth before climbing up to stand on a chair. She reached up on her tip toes, trying hard to look over the wall hiding the pit from the audience. She just wanted to see if anyone was out there yet, it was still fairly quiet..but still.
