Pop! Goes The Cherry
»"Oh, WG, have you really know decency? This is kind of old news, but it looks like IC might have paid off a few people, like the true politician’s daughter that she is, to keep this little gem on the hush hush. But oh, IC, IC, don’t you know that nothing is safe from me?"

Oh, Baby, Baby!
»"Hey Harrimaners, sorry for my brief abscence, but I’ve been just too busy trying to keep track of all the gossip in this school to even be able to write about it! But this little piece of news was just TOO good for even a busy bee like me to pass up."

»"Yet another car bomb went off in Iraqiranistan at approximately 3 PM this afternoon. Casualties were numbered at as many as twenty Iraqistanis, as well as three American soldiers, and thirty of both parties wounded. A statement has not been issued by the army as to the potential terrorists, but WNB is willing to guesstimate that Tyler Durden + Sack Of Mothballs = Big Explosion"

Maine to Pass Bill for Heavy Budget Cuts; Sports, Arts Suffer
» "Maine has been following the precedent set by several other United States school boards and has been cutting funding significantly to schools, especially for fine arts programs. While this mostly affects public schools, it will also affect a small number of private and magnet schools that receive fundings, grants, and scholarships for students from the government."

[ THE TRAITS ]:

[ THE ULTIMATE GOAL ]: to be a famous playwright/director
[ THE PREVIOUS SUCCESSES ]: Seven has finished two complete plays, The Fantastic Fanatical Mister Fabian Finnister, and Mae Jean’s May Day. She has started and left unfinished a grand total of twenty plays. She has also pursued some casual acting while on summer vacation with park acting groups.
[ THE STRUGGLES ]: Seven’s largest hardship has been her asthma, which has been a constant companion since her fifth birthday when she had a near-fatal attack. It has been a massive barrier to her living a free and easy life, and has been a contributor to her withdrawn and timid personality.

[ THE OTHER SCHOOL ]: Seven was homeschooled until she was old enough to attend Harriman by her mother and a slew of the best tutors in Maine. She really rather liked being home schooled, because there were far less noisy and obnoxious artsy-types, and she could study whatever she liked.

LOOKS, LOCKS, AND LEGS

Harriman, Seven Briony [COTM] SaoirseRonanDM_228x230

[ THE PLAYED-BY ]: ronan, saoirse

[ THE EYES ]: Seven has humongous, round spectacular blue eyes. They are not quite the windows to her soul, but rather the windows to a frozen lake in the Antarctic, and in this way perhaps a window to her never-changing, prim and reserved inner workings.
[ THE HAIR ]: A short, blond bob is Seven’s preferred style of hair. She keeps it very clean, and usually tucks it behind her ears or sometimes will put a headband or ribbon in it to keep it out of her eyes, especially while she works. She has no discernable bangs, but rather a solid sheet of angled bob that curls just at her chin and bounces when she walks.
[ THE SMILE ]: The smile does not happen. It simply does not. On the extremely hyper-rare occasion that she should smile, usually when she is around her father, the edges of Seven’s lips will curve upwards and her rosy cheeks will kind of form little apples, but her eyes do not light up at all.
[ THE OTHER FACIAL STUFF ]: Seven has a small beauty mark on her right cheek next to her nose and underneath her eye. Her nose is thin and straight, with a very slight upturn at the end, though this is not easily discernible. Her jaw is ovular and thins at the end, and her chin is not particularly strong, but not as weak as it could perhaps be.

[ THE BUILD ]: Seven is thin, to put it simply. She is straight up and down, with almost no curves nor hint of womanly form. Her breasts have not developed, her hips have not widened. Her entire appearance is rather newborn colt-ish in its nature, and her long thin limbs poke out of her large vintage dresses in a rather adorable but stickish way.
[ THE HEIGHT ]: 5’ 0”, but growing slowly
[ THE WEIGHT ]: 101
[ THE POSTURE ]: Always one to be the model of manners, Seven sits up straight, walks with her head held high as if she could balance on it a column of books, and is always proper in table manners and demeanor.

[ THE CLOTHING ]: Seven is a vintage store fanatic. She often wears dresses as old as the thirties or fourties, and has been gifted by her grandmother a number of Felicity’s own dresses from when she was a little girl. These Seven treasures more than any other items in her closet, which typically consist of anklet socks, hair ribbons, mary janes, and sundy-school dresses. Typically, Seven wears white, ivory, or cream variations, but will occasionally wear color, her favorites being green and blue.
[ THE HYGIENE ]: Seven is obsessively hygienic. She showers daily, sometimes twice a day, and brushes her teeth three times a day if she can manage. Every morning and evening she brushes her hair fifty times, in order for it to remain shiny and beautiful. She keeps her nails short and clean, and always makes sure her clothes are neat and tidily arranged on her body, as well as properly laundered.

FAMILY: HATE TO LOVE 'EM?

[ THE PARENTS ]: Julia and Edgar Harriman. Julia is a stay-at-home mother who runs her own line of beauty products from her own office within their home. Edgar is, of course, the headmaster of Harriman.
[ THE SIBLINGS ]: Eloise Harriman, sixth year. Lola and Seven get on fairly well for siblings, though Lo’s personality is far more abrasive and loud to Seven’s quiet and prim type.
[ OTHER IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS ]: Like her sister, Felicity Harriman has been a huge influence in Seven’s life; she has always catered to the girl’s love of old clothing, and provided a number of relics from the past both wearable and not. Grandma Felicity has always been Seven’s biggest fan, and watches all of her plays, or scenes from plays on which she is working, patiently and obligingly until Seven is satisfied.
[ IMPORTANT ANCESTRY ]: Seven’s grandmother, of course, is Felicity J. Harriman, the founder of the Harriman School for the Arts. Her father has listed off various other influential ancestors over the years, including a possible relation to Alexander Graham Bell, but Seven has never been much for genealogy.
