Isabelle had sent the text to her best friend as something of a joke, her fingers acting before her brain. However, after it had been sent, it settled on her just how real she had meant her proposition to be. What they would be doing was a little fuzzy, but she had something of an idea, and as Simon's terse but loaded text flew back to her, the ghost of a scheming smile rested on her lips.

Was it so horrible to give in like this? After all, she and Simon had been something of an item for quite a while now, and maybe it would be lighter, more enjoyable, without the weight of titles and commitments. Isabelle wasn't the kind to be traditional or clingy, and truth be told she was content with their relationship as it was. Still, being the prep daughter that she'd been raised to be, she couldn't help but worry what other people would think if word got out- and worse, if it found its way into the Harriman Huntress... Chewing on her lip thoughtfully as she set her phone on her desk, Isabelle nervously stamped around her bedroom, picking up dirty clothes and throwing them in the hamper.

God, why was she so nervous? True, it wasn't like she was exactly treading familiar territory; she'd only done it twice once, and even that was hard to admit, since it'd been taken from her on a drunken night. Letting her long dark brown hair down from the ponytail it'd been in, she fluffed it quickly in the mirror, checking her face from several different angles. She hadn't put makeup on, but probably wouldn't have time, and found it better to just flaunt her natural beauty- this was Simon we were talking about, after all...

Next were the clothes- should she change, or forego them entirely? Quickly she glanced down at what she was wearing- a small pair of black dance shorts and an oversized Harriman's sweatshirt, the name of her school glowing in bright Harriman orange letters, a picture of a swallow shining beneath them. Anxiously she gnawed on the inside of her cheek. Play it up, or down? Be an alluring, seductress Isabelle, or Simon's Izz? The choice was so difficult- and she had hardly any time left at all! It wasn't exactly like she had much boobage to show off in a tank top or low-cut top, but really, that was what water bras were for...

With a sigh, she ripped off her sweatshirt, throwing it on the end of the bed and snatching a tanktop up off of the floor, foregoing the bra altogether- it wasn't like she was going to try and pretend she had something she didn't. Pulling off her dance shorts, Isabelle stood there in a snug blue tank top and a pair of white silky boyshorts, admiring her reflection and her long legs for a moment, tousling her hair and throwing on just a little mascara to make her eyes pop.

As Isabelle was doing her final sweep of the room, she was interrupted by a knock at the door. Walking smoothly over to it, but pacing herself so as not to seem desperate- maybe she did learn a few things from her mother after all- Izz counted to ten before opening the door, leaning against the frame once it was open and jutting her hip out so as to give her the illusion of far more curves than she possessed.

"So glad you deigned to come..." she said with a smirk before grabbing Simon by the shirt and pulling him into the room, shutting the door and locking it behind him.

Simon felt terrible.

Okay, no he didn't. He felt wonderful. No, that wasn't right either. Okay, Simon really didn't have the slightest idea how he felt. On one hand, boooy was he excited to get back to the dorms and see Izz. But on the other hand, it wasn't usually in Simon's nature to be an asshole - that was usually Isaac's job - and blowing Audrey off at the very last minute when he hadn't seen her since their trip to Sugarloaf Resort definitely didn't feel right.

But hey, a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do, right?

The closer he got to Izz's dorm, the easier it was to forget about Audie. He'd just have to make it up to her later, that's all! He'd spend the whole day with her tomorrow no matter what if that's what he had to do, but for now, there were other, more pressing matters. Simon clunked urgently through the doors of the dorm building in his thick boots, praying to God he didn't run into anyone on his way up the stairs. He tugged off his heavy winter coat as he climbed the steps, figuring (or hoping, rather) that it would only be a burden once he finally got to his destination. Part of him couldn't actually believe that this whole thing was happening. I mean sure, it'd been a bit obvious that there was a bit more than an obscenely close friendship between Izz and himself, but up until today it hadn't even come close to being so raw and blunt. Any other time, Simon would have been a bit unnerved by the ramifications of whatever was about to take place. But frankly, he couldn't help but be just a wee bit turned on by how negligent and impulsive this was. Right now, he just wanted to get to that damn door as fast as these obnoxiously heavy boots would allow him.

Finally, he was cruising down the last stretch of hallway before her door. His horrid boots clopped and thundered his each step along the thinly carpeted floor, making a bit of self-consciousness sink in at last. Oh God, he better not find a way to humiliate himself before it even started. And then something suddenly occurred to him - he still had his freaking sled with him! Groaning angrily, Simon quickly turned himself in the other direction, turned the corner of the hallway again, and tossed the stupid sled off to the side. Audrey would just have to figure something out for him if it got stolen, because he really didn't give a damn right now. He flung himself back in the direction he'd just come, and at long last reached his door. Simon took a deep breath, and knocked on the door.

And there she was. And damn did she look good. And - whoa, okay then! He'd hardly had time to grin wolfishly back at her, much less make any verbal response, before she was pulling him by his collar into the room. Simon abandoned his coat on the floor almost immediately, bringing Izz closer to him and kissing her fervently. The image of her poised in the doorway was still etched fuzzily in his brain as they made their way further into the room. Smoothly but hastily, his hands slid around her and towards the bottom of her shirt, bunching it higher and pulling it over her head before he even considered thinking through what he was doing.

Yeah, this was definitely better than sledding.

Isabelle kissed Simon back with abandon, lifting her arms up as he tore off her shirt, more exposed than she'd been around him before (but, unsurprisingly, caring very little). Any previous doubts she had harboured were viciously chased away by the growing feeling in the pit of her stomach of highly lusty butterflies. Tugging up at his own shirt with less fluidity, the long-sleeved thing got caught on his face, and she laughed as he bent over a little and she pulled, getting it off after a brief struggle, their faces return to each other like magnets.

This was it, she guessed. She supposed that it was only quite right that it should be so spontaneously; after all, neither her nor Simon were the ones to enjoy plans that went awry. The small hints of nerves left were not for fear of it being bad (afte all, best friends knew each other so well, surely they must be good in bed together...) but of anticipation and overwhelming excitement. As her hand trailed down his abdomen and towards the top of her jeans she stopped, pulling away, her lips slightly kiss-swollen, turning her big blue eyes up to Simon.

"Isaac's going to kill us," she said with a grin, pondering it a moment with her blue eyes locked on Simon's brown ones. With a small shrug she dismissed it, struggling a moment with his button before looking up at him with a look of amusement. "a little help here?"

Simon got his pants off like a pro, but was somewhat deterred once he got to his snowboots. The pair of them groaning, Isabelle helped him tug them off, grunting a little with the effort. "Why the hell didn't you take these off in the hallway?!" she cried indignantly as they got the second one onto the floor, followed quickly by his jeans. He was already seated on her bunk, and she climbed in behind him, situating herself so that her head was resting on her pillow, in nothing but panties, heart pounding against her ribs. Oh god oh god oh god oh god.

Simon's brain was working so quickly as Izz tugged his own shirt over his head that anything he'd been trying to process was simply forming a giant blob of anti-thoughts. He didn't really have a shred of an idea what was happening, but whatever it was, it was happening, that was for sure. Izz's skin felt warm and soft against his, and she was gorgeous and wonderful, and right now that was about all he knew. His lips moved to her neck as she fumbled with the button on his jeans, and Simon couldn't help but feel a little but unable to believe this was actually happening, so quickly and so suddenly.

But then Izz said something that made Simon stop dead in his tracks for just a second. "Isaac is gonna kill us"

Oh God, she was right. If Isaac found out about this, he most definitely would kill them. Brutally and violently too, Simon was sure. But that was assuming that Isaac would find out, and he most definitely didn't have to, he thought as he shrugged his pants to the floor. He shook his foot quickly, only to realize that his boots were still tied tightly onto his feet. Groaning frustratedly, he'd plopped down onto Izz's bunk in a matter of seconds as the two of them worked on untying the mess of knots in his shoelaces.

Soon enough though, he'd kicked both boots across the room and shuffled the jeans from around his ankles, and swung himself back to Izz, who had slid into the bed behind him. But just as he leaned forward to kiss her again, he felt a pang of something in his gut. Anxiety, guilt, Simon wasn't sure what it was, but it was something. He hesitated for just a moment, suspended there above Izz. "Now, you're sure you wanna do this, right?" he found himself asking her.
