Ah. Just ah. It's so relaxing to have you back, old buddy. Just having you humming here next to me, knowing that I'm only a few mouse clicks away from reaming Max on Call of Duty. Ah.
Anyways, guess you're wondering why I've taken to acting like this little diary is a livejournal or something, what with the 'mood' and whatnot. I want to say that I'm doing it so I can keep track of myself, perhaps correlate my moods with certain ways I write or something? The real reason, I think, is that I'm trying to convince myself that I'm almost brave enough to actually start writing a livejournal. I'm totally not brave enough though. I think I would die before I put any of my actual thoughts on the interwebs. It would probably end up being something like:
Today I woke up. It was a day. I ate some things. I said some things to some people and it made me feel feelings. I may or may not have went to some class or another. There was probably a party. Now I am going to bed. The end.
Yum. How absolutely boring. I'd probably end up making everyone think I'm a robot. Though that would perhaps have its upsides.
I guess I don't have much else to say, except that I am terribly looking forward to opening a can of whoop-ass on my dear little brother tonight. Oh! And the tryouts for the first school musical are coming up, wish me luck M!

Gah!
September is running away from us, full speed without looking back. I can't stand the way time just runs away with me. I'd expected to get so much more done by now! I mean I did get around to wrangling Soph and Izz into a sleepover and I got the sign-up sheet for Cinema-awesome! up (and I've actually got a pretty good turn-out so far, yay me!) and we had the first meeting/movie last week and that was pretty cool. And I did wiggle myself into being the President of the Student Congress. I guess I'm not doing too badly for my first couple of weeks back... I still haven't got up the bulletin for Rocky Horror yet. I've decided that Carl Yates did such a bad job of it last year (thank heaven Harriman's rid of that kid) that I'd have to give it a go myself. I mean, it couldn't be worse!
On another note, Maine winter is looming in front of me like some toothless, grinning crone. Beckoning with a shark's smile. I'm shivering just thinking about it! At least I'll have a great excuse to start guzzling hot chocolate like there's no tomorrow. And scarves. Who doesn't like scarves?
Oh! And I got myself registered up for Spicer's Theater Lit class and 3D art too. I'm going to attack that clay like nobody's business. I'm not sure about everything else that we're going to be doing in that class, but at least I have Kaylor and Zach to hold my hands through it. Theater Lit I'm less sure about. I love Spicer and her crazy boy-hating rants, and she's helped me out a lot with a couple of difficult theater pieces, but I've heard just about everything (bad and good) about her as a teacher. I guess I'll just have to see for myself.
I've been so busy with wasting the rest of September that I've barely even had time to frag my brother! Hopefully once I get the hang of things I'll get to spend some more time with him.
I'll leave you with a quote, dear whirring machine,
Jay
"We were laughing at the stars while our feet clung tight to the ground,
So pleased with ourselves for using so many verbs and nouns."
