[ THE TRAITS ]:

[ THE ULTIMATE GOAL ]: Join a successful band.

[ THE PREVIOUS SUCCESSES ]: Joined a few unsuccessful bands. Otherwise, overcame a fear of heights (oish those fears can really a get a guy) by climbing up some mountains in Virginia with his cousins there.

[ THE STRUGGLES ]: Mom and dad's divorce. Darnell was really young, four, in fact. Mom took him with her; it had been a bad idea from the start, seeing as she was leaving to be a part of the circus and all, she didn't have time to really take care of him. So at one of the stops in Florida (the first, in fact) she dropped him by Uncle Arnie and Aunt Patty's place. Uncle Arnie was dad's brother, and he didn't have any kids at the time, so he took Darnell in with open arms. He was supposed to stay just a year and then go back to dad, but he was adjusting so well with school and all dad decided he could just stay (although Darnell insists that dad just didn't want another kid on his hands).

He acted out a lot in middle and high school, got sent around to live with various relatives when Aunt Patty was diagnosed with cancer and Uncle Arnie couldn't really handle him so well. Drugs and alcohol were his friends until about a year ago, when he decided enough was enough and he had to get himself together.

Then came Alicia, the estranged little sis. Darnell was sent to spend his summer of his freshman year with her- his mind was really messed up at the time- so when he met his sister for the first time since she was two, he was a total jerk. Sophomore summer went similarly until the end, when he decided to clean up. He spent Junior summer trying to make it up to her and now here he is...

[ THE OTHER SCHOOL ]: Darnell came to Felicity after Alicia had already been there awhile, when she was an 8th grader and he was in 10th. He didn't do that great in school, that's why the whole scholarship thing really shocked him- he knew he was good at what he did- but that good? It was a nice surprise. And being at Felicity has really helped Darnell go straight-edge. If he messed up here, he'd get kicked out and then be where? Tossed around the country- again.

LOOKS, LOCKS, AND LEGS

[ THE EYES ]: Mostly his eyes are green with a pinch of yellowish and orangish tossed right on in there. He can remember his mom saying that he had mood eyes, because they had this tendency to change colors, not necessarily based on his emotions, more so just in general. Still, his eyes are his most complimented feature, and he likes them.

[ THE HAIR ]: Darnell's hair is brown, but gets kind of dirty-blondish highlights in the summer time. He cuts it shortish, so that he can shake it and make it flip up and stuff; when straight and flat it hangs down past his ears just a tad. Mostly he likes to keep it simple, just wake up, shake, maybe comb his hand through his hair, pat it a little and be ready to rock and roll. Shortish and sweet- that should cover it.

[ THE SMILE ]: Nice straight teeth are Darnell's second most complimented feature- not that he's been keeping tabs or anything... He brushes twice a day and flosses once, so it's no wonder. No braces either, lucky him.

[ THE OTHER FACIAL STUFF ]: He has facial hair sometimes... y'know- when he doesn't shave it off... which this year he's leaning towards not doing. So stubble, here he comes! Otherwise, he has very light and very lightly spread freckles.

[ THE BUILD ]: Darnell is thin and rather muscular- he's no macho macho man, no WWE star, but he's well built enough to take off his shirt and feel perfectly confident in not looking like a chump. But really, he doesn't do that type of thing very often, so who would know? If there's anything that he feels a little bad about it's how short he feels when he stands by the other guys.
[ THE HEIGHT ]: 5' 11".
[ THE WEIGHT ]: 184.
[ THE POSTURE ]: He's a sloucher. He gets very very comfy in weird places and positions too. Like underneath desks, or leaning over the back of a chair- all things he started at school, usually after a rough night.

[ THE CLOTHING ]: Darnell likes to look at least somewhat original in what he wears- but never too crazy. He prefers things with cool designs, likes long-sleeves, loves layering, and jeans. Cotton is his friend- he hates all things silky or spandexy. He would never be caught in tights, not even for Halloween. His jeans are usually fairly tight, but in a tasteful way. Overall, it's an attractive and comfy style.

[ THE HYGIENE ]: Darnell showers, if that's what you want to know. He keeps clean, doesn't smell unless he'd just been out running or something, which he tends to do when he can wake up early enough. Even then, a little deodorant can do wonders. He brushes his teeth and flosses too- a rarity in kids his age- so his very proud dentist tells him.

FAMILY: HATE TO LOVE 'EM?

[ THE PARENTS ]: Father- Albert Allen Allred, age 40 & mother- Denise Jameson Allred, age 38. Divorced. Denise is no longer in contact with Albert or Darnell or Alicia for that matter.

Albert is a successful businessman in Seattle, Washington. Denise left when Darnell was four to go join a traveling circus. Darnell does not get along with Dad and never will. End of story.


[ THE SIBLINGS ]: Alicia Agamemnon Allred, fifteen and a sophomore in the Lit. and Band departments. Darnell and Alicia are kind of on the outs with each other- or at least that's how Darnell sees it as being. He's trying to mend their broken relationship, which mom really tore apart by taking him from dad, but he broke completely by being such a jerk when he finally got to see her again.

[ OTHER IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS ]: Uncles and aunts were pretty much all Darnell ever had. They tried their best to raise him right, but it's hard to do that when the kid's being flown around practically every other month.

[ IMPORTANT ANCESTRY ]: Apparently, dad was a cousin in law to the famous Vladimir Abramovich Rokhlin, a Russian mathematician who worked under the USSR, but that's only according to dad, who Darnell just so happens not to trust- at all.
