[ THE TALENT ]: nick started off with the acoustic guitar at age six, before moving on to electric guitars a couple of years later. Recently he’s started composing his own songs (though whatever he comes up with mainly end up being crushed paper missiles used to attack his brother). His musical tastes are wide ranging and tend to seem ridiculously random, whether it’s the backstreet boys or metallica, the beatles or keith urban- even pachelbel's canon in D plays on his ipod sometimes; nick listens to almost anything to always have a fresh perspective to his guitar playing. he also has a pretty good singing voice, but doesn’t take lessons and prefers to downplay that particular talent because he's a shy, silly fool.

[ THE FEARS ]:

large audiences, losing his family, drowning (yes, Miami is not a good place for him), monsters in the closet/ under his bed, the dark (it's the boogieman!), malls (see ‘the siblings’), dementors, losing his guitars, stampedes, global warming

[ THE ULTIMATE GOAL ]: becoming a famous guitarist in a famous band, and then maybe having a famous solo career later on. Honestly, he just wants to be a rockstar with adoring fangirls screaming after him- perhaps not in so many words, but definitely somewhere along those lines. He’s just too shy to admit it out loud.
[ THE PREVIOUS SUCCESSES ]: Won a few talent and music competitions. Getting accepted by Harriman-he considers it a huge success.
[ THE STRUGGLES ]: So far, he doesn’t really have any major hardships that he has to deal with- unless of course trying to not be overshadowed by his brother counts.

[ THE OTHER SCHOOL ]: he and Zach both attended the same private school before starting at Harriman. Not having much to do other than messing about with his guitar and the occasional hanging out with friends, he found that studying filled up his extra time and it gradually became a habit. As a result his grades were much better than his brother's, being mainly A’s and B’s much to the delight of their father.

LOOKS, LOCKS, AND LEGS

[ THE PLAYED-BY ]: Bobo, Jonah
[ THE EYES ]: His almost perfectly almond shaped eyes are dark brown in colour. His irises will turn an even darker brown in certain lights, and- like his entire family- his eyes are double lidded. Nick's eyes coupled with his child-like face gives his features a rather innocent look. His big eyes always show his emotions especially when he is frustrated or angry.
[ THE HAIR ]: His hair is simply styled with a left parting making his longish fringe fall just above his left eye. Just a few shades lighter than that of his brother’s, it covers his ears to some extent and reaches slightly above his shoulders in short, messy waves. He washes it almost everyday, since it's easy to do so considering the short, conveniently manageable length. As for styling products, he just doesn't bother with them; Nick sees no sense in using them, unlike his hair-obsessed older sibling. Often after a strenuous effort at song composing his bangs end up rather tousled, thanks to the huge amount of absent minded tugging he puts them through. And of course, there's the well-known 'just rolled out of bed' look he sports from time to time.
[ THE SMILE ]: Nick smiles very often; usually a one-sided smile with the corner of his mouth quirking upwards a little. It’s a habit of his to smile at someone in greeting when he passes them anywhere. His straight teeth will be visible at times.
[ THE OTHER FACIAL STUFF ]: Nick has pale, smooth skin that’s unblemished by acne and chubby cheeks. A somewhat high, straight nose graces his roundish face and his light pink lips complements his fair complexion. He looks rather young for his age, making him seem more innocent.

[ THE BUILD ]: Nick still hasn't outgrown his baby fat yet, since he's technically more of an indoors type of guy. Nowadays though he's making more of an effort to get rid of all the chubbiness, if only to get his brother to stop calling him 'RolyPolyOly' (as if Avery wasn't bad enough).
[ THE HEIGHT ]: 5’ 1”
[ THE WEIGHT ]: 108lbs
[ THE POSTURE ]: Nick has a slight slouch when he's sitting, thanks to all the years of hunching over his guitar- but he usually tries to correct his posture if and when he remembers to (he doesn’t want to be the hunchback of Notre dame harriman obviously). Even at 12, his walk is more of a stride, with his hands normally stuffed into his pockets. He doesn’t really like moving at a slow pace and tends to have his earphones jammed into his ears with his favourite band playing at a loud-ish volume.

[ THE CLOTHING ]: Nick dresses comfortably- whether it’s jeans and a t-shirt or formal wear- and usually in plain, simple colours, favouring black, blue and brown; he's happy so long as it doesn’t restrict his movements when he’s playing his beloved instrument. He loves his Converses and wears them every chance he gets.
[ THE HYGIENE ]: Nick's rather conscious about self-hygiene and makes it a point to shower at least twice a day. When it comes to his appearance however it doesn't matter as much; he’s always comfortably garbed after all. As for his teeth, Nick takes really good care of them, not wanting to go through the trouble his brother always seemed to have with his braces.

FAMILY: HATE TO LOVE 'EM?

[ THE PARENTS ]: Father-Quentin Peters, 45, investment banker. Mother-Marianne Peters, 42, former professional dancer turned dance instructor. Nick gets along quite well with his parents, they're his family after all; he just wonders if his mother would ever stop forcing him into health diets and if Zach and his father would ever stop arguing.
[ THE SIBLINGS ]: Zachary Quentin Peters, 15, Freshman, Art. Nick gets along pretty well with his older brother; he just wishes that Zach would stop picking on him all the time. He's STILL scarred from all those nights Zach insisted on telling him stories about monsters under his bed and in his closet when they were younger. Then, obviously, there are all those constant jibes he gets regularly- it's practically like clockwork. Oh, and best of all, that one time they were at the mall Zach decided to ditch him for nearly five hours just because, according to him, “I’d thought it’d be fun”. Competition-wise though, Nick doesn’t believe that there’s any between him and Zach-they both have their own specific interests after all.
[ OTHER IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS ]: In Nick’s opinion, having a large family has its own pros and cons. It's merrier during the festive seasons but then again family gatherings get just a little bit too crowded for his shy personality, blood-related or not. There was one other important member of the family- Dragon (hey, he was 5 when he named it!) the Dalmatian. Unfortunately Dragon died a couple years back after getting hit by a speeding truck, and Nick's decided no replacement would do.
[ IMPORTANT ANCESTRY ]: Unfortunately, no one in the family's ever made it big- not yet, that is. According to their dad Zach's about to be the first, and according to Zach their dad's just deluding himself. As far as Nick's concerned they can both argue about it as long they want, as long as they leave him out of it. He just wants to be known for his music in the future.
