[ THE PREVIOUS SUCCESSES ]: Played in the national orchestra in front of the president. Granted, it was only 5th chair, but still in front of the president. Written a children’s book at the age of 10 that was considered by publishers, but turned down at the last minute.
[ THE STRUGGLES ]: Gerard’s only real struggles in life were his parents. Constantly away, abandoning him with his wealthy family, this was when Gerard began to immerse himself in music and writing. They became his fantasy worlds, and he began to create. Really, good came out of his struggle. He still has problems with being left alone. This is why he created a barrier round himself, hoping for his fantasy world to become real. He knows it won’t, but that hope is still there.

[ THE OTHER SCHOOL ]: It was a nondescript school that accepted him at a tender age, despite being private, and Gerard really doesn’t remember that much about it, only that it was there when he realised the power of words. The power of the tattle-tale or of the bully. He’d always been a thoughtful child, and could manipulate people easily with the right words in the right places; learning this took up much of his childhood, leaving him with poor grades in science and maths. By the time it came to 3rd grade, Gerard had learnt how to play the clarinet and played it well. He was a child prodigy, though the school only recognised his capability in music, telling him that, though his writing level was high, it just wasn’t good enough that he could be put into special classes for children twice his age, playing the ‘concentration’ card. “He loses concentration easily”, or, “short attention span.” So when he got accepted to Felicity’s on the back of his talent for writing, it was two fingers up to the school.

LOOKS, LOCKS, AND LEGS

[ THE PLAYED-BY ]: Prades, Louis.

[ THE EYES ]: Gerard’s eyes are dark brown and quite small really. He has an ability to shut his emotions off so they don’t reach through. The only time he can’t do this is when he’s truly happy. They are the almond-shaped and tilted down slightly at both corners, giving him a ‘wide-awake’ kind of look.
[ THE HAIR ]: It’s dark and wavy, and always well groomed. The rows of hair products lay testament to this, not that anyone ever sees the inside of his room. Soft and shiny, he is incredibly proud of it. Though it always starts off relatively short after a hair cut, by the time the next cut comes around, his hair is nearly covering his eyes.
[ THE SMILE ]: He doesn’t often show his teeth when he smiles, but when he does, they are white and straight. His dark-pink lips often quirk slightly, but otherwise stay straight. The cupid’s bow of his lips add to his perceived innocence.
[ THE OTHER FACIAL STUFF ]: Gerard has an astonishing lack of facial hair, almost always clean-shaven (other than the occasional shadow that begins to appear on his jaw line and across the top of his lips). His nose is rather too large for his liking, not ending in the cute button nose he would wish for. He has clear skin, always has done, and hopes fervently that his hormones will never mess that up.

[ THE BUILD ]: He’s skinny, though not sickeningly so. He has well defined muscles due to his constant need to work out.
[ THE HEIGHT ]: 6’2”
[ THE WEIGHT ]: 162 lbs
[ THE POSTURE ]: He has a strong, purposeful walk, fitting to a very upright posture. Everything about his posture shouts ‘power’, despite the fact that he only has this power in words.

[ THE CLOTHING ]: Gerard dresses eccentrically, enjoying wearing scarves and other random neckties. He has a few waistcoats that he will wear normally, usually from a Vintage store, so in velvets and curtain-type fabrics that always smell… old. He adorns his legs with skinny jeans and, depending on the weather, has been known to wear legwarmers over the top of them. Bright pink ones. He wears tattered converse on his feet- not that he can’t afford shoes- but will wear smart shoes, though he prefers his converse for ‘sentimental value’. Everyone knows that if this was true, those converse would be hung on the wall.
[ THE HYGIENE ]: Completely vain about his hair and teeth and skin, he will wash his hair every day then use his numerous hair products. His teeth are brushed to perfection and have been whitened once. Gerard also moisturises daily, and uses a face mask once a month. He uses only the best skin products, making sure they are ‘perfect’ for his skin. This has resulted in hordes of unused bottles of facial scrub and moisturiser.

FAMILY: HATE TO LOVE 'EM?

[ THE PARENTS ]:
Jonathan Euston Crelia, 47- CEO of a construction company.
Adelina Grace Calvino, 43- Model, famous for her Italian looks.
Gerard was always a Mummy’s boy. He shared her interest in music, and showed the same talent for writing. Devastated when she got back into modelling, travelling all around the world and leaving Gerard behind, Gerard became cold to her- the same way he treated his absent father.
[ THE SIBLINGS ]:
Simon Lawrence Crelia, 23- followed his father into the construction company when he showed little interest in the performing arts. Despite their differences, Simon and Gerard shared a close bond when they were little in the space of their often absent parents.
[ OTHER IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS ]:
Tiana Maria Saldes- The maid that lived in the house when his parents decided to live Gerard and his brother. They formed a close relationship and sees Tiana as a second mother. She was good to him and encouraged his creativity, even influencing him with a like of religious art.
[ IMPORTANT ANCESTRY ]:
His mother’s side is descended from a long line of Italians, and Gerard’s name is in honour of that. His father built his own way in the world, and is descended from a huge number of American’s, with the chance of Portuguese or something in there for the surname ‘Crelia’.
